Dexter Gelfand

This is a team job, and you can't sit there and be a patient and wait for somebody else to create an effect on you.

1 comment:

  1. "This is a team job!"

    That idea in context is referring to the 'healing relationship', but if 'really gotten' and fully embraced as a fundamental principle of Life, it could change families, communities, and countries.

    It could change the World!

    One can work independently along with other (not necessarily connected) individuals also working independently in the direction of a common 'bigger purpose' and still be recognizing and honoring the work as one's part in the Team Job.

    Two examples:

    1) Those who are involved in the work Dexter Gelfand is doing(google his name);

    2) Those who (a growing number) pick up and 'properly dispose of' at least 1 piece of garbage from a public place everyday because they want their living environment to be cleaner, and to set a good example. Ted Turner is one.

    When a critical-mass number of a species adopts a habit, the rest of that species will spontaneously adopt that habit..."The Hundredth Monkey Phenomenon".

    That 'habit' can be picking up that piece of garbage every day.

    The 'habit' can also be a way of thinking, or an attitude.

    Or an idea.
    Like..."This is a Team Job!"

    When THAT idea ignites, we'll soon have our healed and changed World.

    "Soon, O Lord!"
